It’s official. The Audi E-Tron was renamed the Q8 E-Tron for its mid-cycle update, which was revealed this week. There is a revised style, improved charging and a lot more autonomy.
Mercedes-Benz AMG One turns the Nürburgring in 6: 35.183 – October 2022
This week Mercedes-Benz AMG revealed the lap time of hypercar One at the Nürburgring circuit. It’s a new record for production cars, and you can watch the entire race in one video.
Bugatti said this week that its Mistral roadster was designed to go faster than 261 mph, and possibly even faster than the land speed record of 265.6 mph for an open car. A record top speed would be an ideal farewell for Bugatti’s W-16 engine, the latest application of which is in the Mistral.

Porsche’s CEO confirmed plans for an electric 718 earlier this year and the first prototype was spotted this week. The prototype is for a 718 Boxster convertible, but an electric 718 Cayman coupe is also expected to be in the works.
Porsche 911 Dakar prototype
Another Porsche in the headlines this week was the upcoming 911 Dakar. This is an off-road ready version of the iconic sports car, which Porsche will unveil for the first time at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show.
2024 Volvo EX90
Volvo has revealed a midsize electric SUV dubbed the EX90. Despite its similar size and positioning, the EX90 is not a replacement for the best-selling XC90, but an electric alternative.
Aehra SUV concept
An Italian electric vehicle startup named Aehra unveiled its first product, a supercar-looking SUV. This last part shouldn’t come as a surprise as the SUV was written by the supercar designer Aventador and Huracán.
Ram 2500 HD one-time
And finally, Ram revealed a 2500 HD designed with input from country singer Chris Stapleton. The truck is packed with cool retro touches inspired by Stapleton’s career events.
